Clay Barron

Producer

Hello from Austin! It’s probably hot here.

My fascination with visual storytelling got off to an early start thanks in part to a way too early viewing of Robocop.

On a whim in high school a friend convinced me to audition for a production of Peter Pan, and even though my starring turn as “pirate” did not lead to a life on the stage, it did spark a fascination being behind the stage. I fell in love with the community and collaboration required to get something like that on it’s feet.

I completed my BFA in Theatre Design and Technology from the University of Evansville and followed it with an MA in Television, Radio, and Film from Syracuse.

Since then I have worked as a Producer and Art Director across a variety of mediums; from award-winning web-series’ (Whatever This Is) to independent film (Jack’s Apocalypse, Counsel) and major network television (Top Chef, The Biggest Loser, The Voice).

As a Producer my top priority is to be a sounding-board and confidant to the creative team, doing all I can to smoothly facilitate the execution of their ideas.
