Texas Monthly Presents: The Story is a PBS series sharing authentic stories from across Texas through the lens of Texas Monthly’s journalists and filmmakers. As part of the statewide production team, Forest and Pine filmed more than fifteen stories across the season, capturing the people, places, and culture that define Texas today. We also led full production and post-production on two feature-length specials - The New Tejano, exploring the rise of a new Mexican cuisine movement in Texas, and The List, diving into the making and legacy of Texas Monthly’s world-famous Top 50 BBQ list.
